1998 – youth workers at Highstreet Methodist Church in Harpenden, England; the Factory Team and band Onehundredhours tour multiple youth settings in Modesto, California; Essential and Element, a monthly and weekly youth discipleship initiative is started in Harpenden; the Gathering vision is launched in the UK, networking 33O Discipleship Training School (DTS) staff and students in preparation for the movement; renovation of the factory building begins

1999  - the Gathering vision multiplies and networks 270 DTSers in the Islands of Hawaii; Onehundredhours record their first CD; a three-month leadership development environment called the Autumn gathers 27 young people from 5 continents; the Euro-Gathering in Budapest, Hungary networks 400-plus DTSers that represent 51 nationalities

2000 – Consecrate, a gathering for growth in holiness that specifically targets university students, is launched in the UK; the Gathering vision multiplies into Africa, networking DTSers in South Africa; Onehundredhours record their second CD, a live album called Lift; the Factory Team and Onehundredhours tour Finland with Mission-Live and Loren Cunningham to recruit young Scandinavians for world mission; a make-shift skate-park is opened in the summer for local youth in Harpenden; members of the Factory Team teach in multiple DTS’s throughout the autumn

2001 – the Factory Team and Onehundredhours tour multiple colleges and universities in the US, stretching from Duke University on the East Coast to Cal-Poly on the West Coast; Consecrate multiplies and takes place in Finland; Prepare, a 40-day gathering for university students and DTS staff is launched in the summer; renovations continue in the factory building enabling dorms and bathrooms; a Factory DTS starts with Prepare, with outreaches to South Africa and Argentina

2002 – Onehundredhours sign with Survivor Records and release a third CD, Cardiphonia; the band’s tour schedule increases dramatically with venues ranging from festivals to university gigs; 40 DAYS 2002 gathers 150 young people in the UK and launches the vision of the Factory Cafe; a second Factory DTS continues after 40 DAYS, with staff and students on outreach to Thailand; team members continue to teach internationally in various youth settings, stretching from Germany to Brazil

2003 – 40 DAYS 2003 gathers 150 students and is followed by two outreaches in Manchester, England and Kabul, Afghanistan; Onehundredhours continue to tour extensively both nationally and internationally; the Factory team, totaling 24 people, start a 9-month discipleship/outreach initiative in the live-learn philosophy of Factuary (a combination of the words “factory” and “sanctuary”) that fuses DTS values and teaching with on-going Factory Team projects; members of the team span across the UK on a 14-city outreach tour in the autumn  

2004
– Onehundredhours record a fourth CD, Stronger Than My Heart; the pioneering Factuary project continues with local outreach in Luton, England and cross-cultural work in Spain; the Factory Team enters it’s seventh year and decides to take a 12-month sabbatical from all training in the UK starting in May; EngageHIVaids.com is launched to raise student awareness of the AIDS crisis in Africa; an intentional partnership with the NETS school in Kansas City involves multiple friends from the Factory; a multi-nation trip that touches five continents gives attention to strengthening the global network of friends that now share a connection with the Factory

2005 – love is clearly in the air as multiple team members are married between 2005 and early 2006, with weddings stretching from the UK to Turkey, over to the States, around to Thailand, and all the way down to Ecuador; Onehundredhours continue to tour extensively, including a supporting spot on a major UK and Europe pop-tour; 40 DAYS 2005 re-launches in the UK: including Quintessential, a dinner-theatre involving all five senses in understanding the Story of God in the Bible, plus Re:Engage, a two-week window within 40 DAYS strategically designed to enable young people with a professional calling to engage with society in a Jesus-like way, and also Transmission, a 5-day missions festival in partnership with 24/7 Prayer that gathered 300 young people.

2006
– in partnership with YWAM New Zealand, the Factory hosts a 21-day gathering in Auckland called Sojourn (January 6 – 26, 2006); wrapping-up Sojourn is a new project called City Lights, a city-wide service initiative in Auckland, enabling Sojourn participants to engage in various hands-on outreach that range from organising a blood-drive to renovating a safe-house for under-age prostitutes...
And there’s still more to come for 2006... As the team is now spread out in various corners around the world, the Factory will not be hosting 40 DAYS in 2006.
